Our Why
I know what you’re thinking: why do we need another navel-gazing arts administration blog? And I agree!
When I started Benvenuti Arts, my goal was to provide practical, useful assistance to the small and mighty groups and artists out there in plain language. As we’ve grown, we’ve maintained that focus, creating a safe space for us to ask questions, push back on “best practices,” and move our clients toward their goals, whether that is to grow or to just do what they are doing now, but more efficiently.
And we’re going to continue that effort here. We’re starting slow, planning just one post a month and focusing on the super practical information that you need to just do the work of creating great art. I’m very excited that my entire team will be joining me in writing these posts, so you’ll get to know more about them as we go.
As Benvenuti Arts heads towards it’s 6th anniversary, I am constantly reminded that we would not be able to work with so many amazing groups if I did not have this wonderful team on board.
