Sessions & Seminars

Don't have the resources for a full contract right now? Join our hands-on workshops for small and mid-sized arts and cultural organizations!

Fall 2026 Round is Coming Soon!

Registrations will open in late July – early August 2026

Fall 2026 Seminars:

  • Boilerplate Writing Seminar. Our consultant will walk you through creating a robust boilerplate – the core document containing the language about your organization and its programs. Having a boilerplate is essential for streamlining not only the grant writing and grant reporting process, but also marketing writing and donor communications. The seminar is a working session where you will outline your boilerplate with direct support of our consultant and your peer-participants.
  • End-of-Year Campaign Planning Seminar. Under the guidance of a Benvenuti Arts consultant, you will create a ready-to-use End of Year Campaign that fits your organization’s capacity and aligns with your goals. You will outline a strategy for managing your donor lists and prospecting, complete a publications calendar, and draft launch language.

Who is this for?

Who is this for? Our Sessions & Seminars are targeted to arts organizations with budgets of under $750K, arts leaders, and independent artists who don’t have the time or resources to upgrade or create their strategy and/or key working materials on their own.

Benvenuti Arts values the creation of an end-of-year Campaign plan and a boilerplate at $3,500-$7,500 when created by our team in a one-on-one work with a client. Sessions & Seminars are the closest alternatives to such a customized consulting service, designed as intensive, hands-on workshops that will help you achieve comparable results at a much lower cost

FAQ

How do I know if the program is right for me?

It is for you if…

  • You’re running an arts-based or arts-adjacent organization with a budget of under $750,000, OR you’re an independent artist who doesn’t have the time to create a planning system/revise a budget on their own or doesn’t have the resources to pay an outside consultant for that.
  • You feel overwhelmed with the necessity to plan your fundraising and operational activities well in advance or improve the budget, while meeting daily commitments, and would love some professional and community support to figure that out.
  • You want to improve your organization’s existing planning and operational framework
  • The sessions’ or a seminar’s description just sound like what you need for any other reason 🙂
What is included in each Sessions & Seminars program?

Each Session series includes:

  • Registration for 2 team members.
  • Three working sessions, 1.5 hours each.
  • Two 30-minute one-on-one meetings with the BA consultant (one meeting between the 2nd and the 3rd session, and one meeting within a month after the last session).
  • All necessary templates.
  • Access to the Sessions recordings and slides for 12 months.

Each Seminar includes:

  • Registration for 2 team members.
  • All necessary templates.
  • Email Q&A with the BA consultant within a week after the seminar.
  • Access to the Seminar recordings and slides for 12 months.
Can I register for more than one Seminar or Sessions series?

Yes! We encourage participants to consider registering for more than one program if that is sustainable for you and your workload. While each seminar and session series is a separate, self-sufficient program, they are complementary and are parts of a bigger picture.

What payment methods are available?

We accept payments through debit or credit card and PayPal.

Can I bring more than one person from my organization to the Sessions?

Yes! Each program includes registration for 2  team members. We strongly recommend participating together with your teammate, a staff member or a board member. It will help you to maximize the outcomes.

Do I need to use any particular platform to access the program materials?

No! We use Google Suite tools, which are accessible for anyone with any email account. It is user-friendly, and many people are familiar with it. If you’re not – now worries! We’ll provide necessary instructions and support. But again: all you need to participate is a functioning email address and internet access. That’s all.

Will I have access to the Sessions & Seminars materials after the end of the program?

Absolutely! You are encouraged to download and keep the templates we will work with. You will also have access to the meeting recordings and slides for 12 months after the program ends. For sessions, we will also provide a meeting recording and transcription within 2 days after each meeting, so you can refresh what you’ve learned as soon as possible before the next meeting and be on top of your process.

This fundraising workshop was incredibly valuable. It offered insightful one-on-one and group sessions that helped clarify my goals and equipped me with effective tools to plan out the year for my organization. With boundless gratitude!

Sarah knows how to breakdown the ins and outs of the grant systems. She gives you endless amounts of resources and tools to ensure you know which grants you are eligible for and how to make a good application! I highly recommend her workshops and working with her!

Rachel Berger
Executive Director at The Artist Co-op

The Benvenuti Arts Fundraising Workshop was incredibly helpful. My producing partner and I run a fledgling arts organization. Sarah walked us through the basics of multiple fundraising approaches, with context from her experience in the field. This helped us understand not just how to fundraise, but the trends and contexts to help us refine our approach. Sarah’s personalized support, including a personal consultation, helped us refocus our strategy towards fundraising and gave us clear first steps, as well as long-term goals and plans. I cannot recommend her workshop enough.
