Resources

Many organizations creating the most exciting work out there are strapped for cash. BA is working to provide with an ever-growing set of resources accessible online, for free or at very low cost. Even if you can’t afford to work with us right now, we are still working for you.

Grants Guide

For an artist focused on creation, or a small organization of overworked staff, grant writing can seem like a nuisance at best or a mysterious other language at worst. Most grants guides are thorough, but confusing and dense with information. In this short, 10-page guide, you’ll find the true basics of institutional fundraising from how to choose which grants to apply for, to how to cultivate relationships with funders, to how to write in a language that actually gets you grants. For the beginner just learning about grants fundraising, to the veteran who can’t understand how foundations and government funders think, this guide will help you craft a lean institutional fundraising plan that makes the most of the little time you have.

Individual Fundraising Guide

This slim, 12-page guide helps you to plan for a full year of individual fundraising, including a traditional campaign, cultivation opportunities, and special events. It focuses on building a larger, ongoing donor program that can help you reach your goals,  and create a community of supporters who not only donate to your work, but are also passionate and invested, helping to broaden your community and impact over time. We strive to simplify the steps, helping even the smallest organizations build a robust relationship with donors that truly works within the limitations of their small and mighty staff.

Budgeting Guide

Budgeting might be the most despised, most ignored, and least understood tool in the production and management of the arts. While artists and administrators often list their various costs when putting together a show, many become frustrated or confused when it comes time to put those numbers on paper. In this workbook, I will not only guide you through a simple budgeting process, but also, hopefully, demystify it for you. By the end, you might even look forward to making your own budget!

Internship Opportunities

Fall/Winter, Spring & Summer

Our Internship Program is a unique experience created by, for, and with individuals selected to take part in the opportunity. In addition to all around arts consulting, Benvenuti Arts works with organizations across the country to provide financial management, event coordination, and interim management services.

We believe in and work with the Small and Mighty. That’s a core founding principle of the company, carrying it into every aspect of our work. But Small and Mighty isn’t just in who we work with, it’s who we are. We’re never the team that shows in fancy suites with flashy reports. We come as we are, with the best plan in the simplest language, ready to lead, coach, and support our clients and members to further and further success.

That’s our approach to interns as well. At Benvenuti Arts interns are true members of the team, having regular responsibilities, developing meaningful rapport with clients and members, and taking lead on innovative approaches to problems and projects.

Fill out the information below to help us get to know you a little, understand your interests and why you are interested in working with a Small and Mighty team like ours. For any questions, please reach out via our Contact page.
